Pyromodular

Operated through the specially developed PYROLOGISM software and equiped with a touch screen computer RYROMODULAR thermo controller is a state of the art control, monitoring and data acquisition system.
Thermansys develops this remote and expandable tube furnace power supply and control system to equip all its tube reactor type furnaces. Understanding that in most circumstances a tube furnace is used for a process reactor heat up we wanted to provide a solution that can cover many aspects of your application.
 
  • Standard equipped with a Digital LCD display temperature controller providing 15 step programming with 1 program storage.
  • Optionally equipped with a remote, Touch Screen Computer, running the specially designed PYROLOGISM 2.0 software. Provides a really unique and friendly, windows oriented architecture interface with multiple, advanced features and peripherals.
  • 3 user process thermocouple inputs available (B, E, J, K, N, R, S, T type- software configurable  24 bit A/D conversion, 0-45°C cold junction compensated, Typical accuracy ±0.2% f.s @ 25
  • Power and true RMS Current measuring circuits.
  • Stand-alone over-temperature limiter (Watchdog) with manual reset in accordance with EN 60519-2 to protect the oven and load for each heat zone(s). Overrides main controller and cut off heater power if user adjustable high limit is reached.

Gas Flow and Pressure

PM-GFP module includes:

  • Up to 4 precise thermal Mass Flow Controllers manifold for analytical grade fluid handling. User selectable gas species calibration and full scale range.
  • Standard accuracy including linearity: ±(0,5% reading + 0,1% FS)
  • Repeatability :< 0.2% reading
  • Typical control stability: < ±0,1% FS
  • Two absolute pressure sensors for reactor sample upstream-downstream pressure monitoring (0-2000 mbar absolute). Also suitable for rough vacuum applications.

Control and monitoring totally integrated through PYROLOGISM software pages.

Gas Analyzers

PM-GA module optionally includes:

  • Up to 3 embedded low cost IR analyzers providing long term stability, excellent repeatability and reliable measurement of:

Carbon Dioxide: Full scale range available 2000ppm, 3000ppm, 5000ppm 1%, 3%, 5%, 10%, 30%, 100%
Carbon Monoxide: Full scale ranges available 3%, 10%, 30%, 100%
Methane: Full scale ranges available 5%, 10%, 30%, 100%.

  • Typical accuracy: ±2% full scale range.
  • Zero stability: ± 2% of range over 12 months
  • Response time: T90 = 10 seconds
  • Operating temperature: 0 – 45ºC
  • Operating pressure: 800-1150 mbar absolute
  • Humidity: 0-95 relative humidity non condensable

Vacuum

PM-V

Rough (up to 10-3 torr) and High (up to 10-7 torr) complete automatic vacuum systems.

Options with rough pump only, turbomolecular pump and diffusion pump for high vacuum are available. 

All optional modules features are fully integrated with the software.

Having in mind user’s convenience and daily work facilitation, Thermansys designs and develops a special windows architecture software providing a friendly human machine interface solution with advanced features:

  • Quick setting of a single ramp rate to a set point -run on timer function.t-point programming with unlimited ramp and constant temperature programming steps – graphical inspection of programming.
  • Storage and reload of unlimited number of distinct programs.
  • Real time chart illustrating control temperature(s), running set point(s) and user process temperatures with dynamic zoom. 
  • Real time true-RMS Current (A), Voltage (V) and Power (W) measurements.                          
  • Real time actual Power (W) and totalized Energy (kWh) chart.
  • Saves all data on local memory and on external USB memory stick
  • Tools for manual PID tuning or auto-tuning.
  • Dynamic Help function tool, virtual keyboard, alarm and event message bar.
  • Watchdog over temperature limiter monitor/configuration page.
